The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

The Stewards requested a report from riders G.P Halpin and C.T. Keane after G.P. Halpin's mount Johann Bach appeared to slip up approximately 200 yards from the finish, thereby bringing down Elusive Heights, ridden by C.T. Keane.
G.P. Halpin reported that his mount stumbled independently and slipped up and C.T. Keane reported that his mount was brought down as a result of Johann Bach slipping up in front of him. Having viewed the recording of the race, the Stewards were satisfied that Johann Bach overreached on his near fore, causing him to stumble and slip up, consequently bringing down Elusive Heights, and having considered the reports, the Stewards took no further action.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Bebhinn (USA), trained by Kevin Prendergast, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stumbled leaving the stalls.

R.P. Downey, rider of Lass Vega trained by Anthony Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel and was pulled up.
